Between 2012 and 2019 the Meaning community gathered annually to explore the role of business in creating a more sustainable, equitable and humane world.
At Meaning we heard bold ideas from unexpected places. From the thinkers and do-ers in business, activism, academia and the arts. We met the pioneering purpose-driven businesses innovating to disrupt not only their sectors but whole systems.
At Meaning smaller groups gathered beyond the auditorium to go deeper into the themes that moved them most in workshops and breakout discussions. We engineered serendipity to help people connect with and learn from their fellow travellers on the road to better business.
In addition to the conference, an array of Meaning Fringe events provided opportunities to get to know the ideas and people in the extended Meaning community. With talks, walks, workshops and pub meet-ups, Meaning Fringe added a huge amount to the unique Meaning experience.

One day there will be a post-capitalist themed Davos. Until then we have #MeaningConf.

#MeaningConf I had such a great time and as I walked out of lunch all I could think was ‘wish I could talk to everyone’

#MeaningConf thanks for another refreshing dip in #Hope #sustainability #change and the only business conference that doesn’t make me want to jam spoons in my eyes. Cheers!
