Marjolein Lips-Wiersma

Marjolein is a world authority on meaningful work. Her passion is understanding how academic research translates into practice, so that collectively people can create paid and unpaid meaningful work – and remove obstacles to it. She is also interested in the tensions, irrationalities and anguish implied in the quest for meaningful life. She collaborates with scholars around the world, and her research is published in top journals.

As co-author of The Map of Meaningful Work: A Practical Guide to Sustaining our Humanity, Marjolein shares her findings with the world, with the goal of helping us all discover a way to work that brings us personal meaning.
